The abstract must be sent using the speaker registration form in the poster or presentation format. 

Once payment is received in the corresponding category (student, professional, COLNADE member), the abstract will be sent to the Scientific Committee for evaluation. By email you will be informed about the status of the evaluation and the final concept.

What are the payment methods?

Registration for the congress must be made by deposit or electronic transfer, to the savings account No. 602 550666 36 of Bancolombia, in the name of Arasarí Conservación e Comunicación (NIT. 900.719.455), in accordance with the table of values ​​in COP .
For payments outside Colombia, a surcharge of USD 6 per transaction must apply. Prices in dollars may vary depending on the TRM of the day.

Can I send my abstract without having paid the registration fee?

If possible, payment should be made before sending the abstract. If you depend on financing and accepting the abstract, you can send us the case to the email: congreso.ecologia@arasari-ci.com

If my abstract is not approved by the Scientific Committee, will my money be refunded?

No, the money will not be refunded, but the person can participate as an attendee and will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the congress.

Will the conferences of the plenary speakers be seen via streaming?

Yes, these can be seen on the social networks of the Organizing Committee of the event.

Is there a certificate of attendance at the congress?
Yes, the certificate will be generated according to the type of attendance as well as confirmation of it at the registration table. This will be found every day in front of the auditorium where the event will take place.

At the time of presenting, if there are two authors, can both present?
If the abstract is approved, authors who have registered for the congress can present. It is recommended that the exhibition be done by a maximum of two people due to time limitations. Each author must make the registration payment and the certificate will be generated only for the authors attending the event.

How do I register as an undergraduate student?
It is essential to attach a study certificate with an issue date no older than one month or a document that supports that you are currently studying.

How do I register as a professional in Ecology?
It is important that at the time of filling out the registration form, you send a photo of the professional card or current professional card certificate (https://www.colnade.co/duplicados-y-certificados) which is issued by the Colegio Nacional de Ecólogos-COLNADE.

How do I register as recent undergraduate/master's graduates?
It is essential to attach a degree certificate valid between the second semester of 2024 and the second semester of 2025.

If I have already sent my abstract, can I request a document so that my institution can process the payment for the conference?
Yes, you can make the request by email at congreso.ecologia@arasari-ci.com, explaining the case and sending the name of the abstract sent. We will send a letter within the next five business days depending on the case.

If I send an abstract and I have already paid, but due to the dates I cannot attend, could one of the co-authors present it with my registration?
Yes, the co-author can be given a place without any problem. To this end, we request that an email be sent informing about the change no later than August 31, 2024, and in which the complete data of the co-author is found. The co-author must fill out the attendance form to have it registered in our Database, attaching the proof of payment and stating the change in the Observations, questions, suggestions space.

 

I am a foreigner, can I go to the conference as an attendee?
Yes, the Colombian Congress of Ecology is aimed at anyone of any nationality who is interested in topics related to Ecology.

I am studying at a university outside of Colombia. Does this card serve to access the student category price?
Yes, there is no problem as long as the card is valid at the time of payment. If the card does not have a date, you must attach a registration receipt, a screenshot of the university system where you can see that you are an active student or a document from the university that certifies this.

 

I am interested in registering for the congress, but I have two different presentations that I want to present. Do I have to fill out two different forms for each abstract?
 

Yes, since they are two works on different topics, two separate forms must be filled out. It is important to clarify that with the payment of the registration fee for the congress, both abstracts can be presented.

 

I would like to know if I get a financial discount when registering as a speaker?
 

No, whether you are a speaker or an attendee, there are no discounts, which are not applied in the price table.

 

In case of loss or similar, can I request the certificate again?
