There is no specific requirement to attend one of the four simultaneous workshops. Nor should you have prior knowledge of scientific illustration.

What are the dates when the entire plan must be canceled; workshops or conferences?

For conferences, payment can be made until the day of the event. With respect to the workshops, payments will only be received until the quota is filled since these are limited.

Is it possible for foreigners to attend the event?

Sure you can attend the event! In turn, they can participate in the contest that will take place during the meeting.

Do I have to pay to participate in the contest?

The submission of illustrations to be among the 50 finalists is free. If you are among the finalists, you must pay the registration for the full plan, workshop or conference corresponding to the category (professional or student). Or you can send the finalist work with one of the already registered participants, who will be responsible for it.

After payment, what should I do?

If I paid for a workshop but I can't attend, will I get the money back?

The money will not be returned, but you can pass your quota to another close person who can attend the workshop.

I am currently a master's student. Does that count to register as a student or do I have to pay as an individual?

The student price applies to current college, majors or masters students. They only need to send along with the proof of payment a document certifying that they are a student.

What should I do if I want to attend the event as a group?

All the people in the group must fill out the pre-registration form. After making the payment with the corresponding discount and to ensure the quotas for the event, a person in charge must send the proof of payment for the group or each person in the group to the email: elartedeilustralaciencia@gmail.com along with the names of the people in it. The Organizing Committee will confirm the group payment and will send the confirmation for participation via e-mail.
